An enchanting place at the foot of Kronplatz

San Vigilio di Marebbe is an enchanting village holiday retreat in Val Badia in Trentino Alto Adige. The centre is located at approx. 1200 m above sea level, nestled in a wide basin overlooked by Kronplatz (2275m) and Piz da Peres (2507m). On the opposite side of the valley the village is overlooked by Monte Corn (1893 m) and Piz de Plaies (1700 m). The latter is easily reachable by cable car which takes you to Ju (1620 m), just below the peak from where you have a wonderful view of Val Badia.

San Vigilio is part of the tourist resort of Kronplatz and is located at the gateway to the Fanes-Sennes-Braies nature park.

There are some remarkable noble "residents" in the village such as Ras castle or La Gran Ciasa a Pieve di Marebbe. Furthermore, you can admire the traditional ladin dwellings called "viles".
